I’m new to this group so hi 3 weeks ago I had routine bloods done and they came back with anemia and kidney function not right Gp repeated tests 3 times , got a phone call from my Gp on Friday to say go to AnE I’m thinking why I feel fine a bit tired other issues cramps restless legs plus other things but didn’t concern me well I was in for a shock bloods taken in AnE showed one kidney is working at 21% the other at 32% I was admitted but being the weekend nothing much was done just bloods they let me home on Sunday and I’ve got to go back tomorrow to get more bloods done no discharge letter was given to me so I’m guessing they might keep me in I’m just wondering what happens next xx

"CKD, to be diagnosed properly, is a handful of tests over a period of time. It is not one type of test in a single snashot or time. The results are baseline on current condition (also tests over a period of time). Your Nephrologist is the expert and is the best resource at your present stage.

Incomplete information or data leads to improper diagnosis and is dangerous."

So, wait for the complete assessment before jumping to conclusions.
