I just had my recent urine and blood tests. Blood test results are all normal. But what worries me is the urine test and I have notice that I have foam/bubbles in my urine every morning. But my doctor said that there is nothing to worry but I am still worried that there is something wrong with my kidneys. Below is my urine test result.

To make a diagnosis of CKD the physician will look at four tests over a couple or a few months, not just one set of labsThe four tests are eGFR, serum Creatinine, Blood Urea Nitrogen (B.U.N.), and Albumin to Creatinine Ratio (ACR). What were your numbers for those tests? Remember, the doctor will do the tests again and possibly a third time, before making or, not making a diagnosis.
Hi! Thank you for taking time to reply..They only test my serum creatinine. Its 0.71 mg/dl and its in normal range. The only thing that bothers me is the lower back pain and the foamy pee in the morning.
I don't know where you live or the type of insurance you have but the standard tests to make a diagnosis are the ones I mentioned. Ask for those tests to be done and see if your physician will follow your request. Best of luck.
I was thinking that if you do a lot of sitting (at work for example) the pain could be unrelated - like sciatica. But of course, as previously stated, you need the eGFR and the Creatinine blood test to really know if there is something going on with your kidneys.
I remember reading that if you are ONLY having foamy pee in the morning it could be normal, especially, I believe, if you are male. Here's one link that gives some of the reasons (other than kidney problems). healthline.com/health/foamy...
If you do a Google search for "foamy urine only in the morning" you'll see other comments/explanations. I am not a doctor and I don't know anything other than what I read on Dr Google (lol), and I'm not trying to tell you to ignore symptoms if you are worried. But if the ONLY thing you have is foamy urine in the mornings only, then it appears there could be other reasons for it, and it doesn't necessarily have to be kidney problems.
