My bowels are starting to be loose, does anyone else experience that with Stage 4 kidney failure at 24%?

Might not be exactly on topic, but I do have a watery stool a lot more now. Afraid to "fart" sometimes.... but it varies between constipation "bunny poops" or watery, very occasionally in between, so I went to the local pharmacy and got OTC Colace/DSS and began taking one a day. Each of us has different electrolyte levels, and at different stages of CKD, let your nephrologist know, maybe a medication can be reduced etc... to alleviate this issue?

Also, recently I get a wild craving for a specific food, then when I get it cooked, or from a restaurant, the thought of actually eating it, makes me want to throw up. I also think this is tied in with the other issues, but I'll let my nephrologist know in a couple of weeks.

Thank you for the response and I’ve felt the same way about food, I’ll think I want it but then I don’t once I get it fixed or bought, so don’t feel alone on that issue

I LOVED regular milk my entire life, as cold as possible! Now I wonder if Im lactose intolerant, Lactaid was easier on my stomach, but still talked back to me! lol

I always loved chocolate but I have diverticulitis too and that is a big no-no with that, lol

Don’t think too much milk is good for you. Try having rice milk and occasional almond milk

My son who is stage 4 has loose but not watery bowels. Our dr says to let him know if it gets watery, he has a stomach bag she it’s easy to see. Maybe it’s the family odd you eat.
