Hi yes I'm stage 4 @16 % I get a lot of back pain on the right side where my single kidney is
Yes indeed, I'm stage 4 egfr 17. Constant pain and my neph says it's not typical.
Yes...I get lower back pain. My Nephologist said that as our kidneys fail our muscles no longer rebuild themselves and they become weak. That is why gentle exercise is so important to help keep them strong and flexible as we can. I have a stationary bike that I ride for 15 to 20 minutes a day and that seems to help.
But as always...check with your Doctor on what exercise options are right for you
How good to get a sensible answer to that question. I havelower back pain and its excruciating but only when I am standing or walking. As soon as I sit down it goes. I was wondering why as I had been told that the pain was not from the kidneys but no-one suggested till now what it might be. Thank you.
