After being off the Kidney harming meds and being on my diet for a month, my GFR went from 39 to 52 . Stage 3A from 3B . I am glad I get to celebrate something even if its for the moment . I know its just a snapshot of this time but I feel I can slow or stop this . Now its time for a Salad to celebrate LOL

I like your new attitude. Congratulations on the good numbers. Keep positive and if/when the GFR takes a slight drop, stay positive. One helpful tip, if with a new set of labs your GFR takes a drop, look at your potassium, phosphorus, protein, sodium, and calcium for an increase in the number, even if it's still inside the reference range. It's possible that that increase could be tied to the GFR drop. Also, keep your exercise regimen steady.

Continued success.

Diclofenac and pantoprazol for way to long . Being prescribed something does not always mean it’s good for you . My doctors never said a thing 😞

So true! Many years ago, we had a Japanese neighbor who wryly said, "There's a little poison in every pill!"

Awesome job !! Depending on the calculator used , my GFR went up from 53 to 71 or 62 or 78 - my dr said it is not an exact science and any one of those numbers would be correct if taken your weight into account (some do and some do not). The important thing is Creatinin goes down. Great job by you. Continue doing what you are doing. Stay active and eat right. The body is an amazing specimen.

Diclofenac for my knees and pantroprazol for acid reflux . Being off of them I realize I can cope without them .

Low Sodium , 60 g of protein a day. At my stage and reason for my ckd my RD was not as concerned about potassium and phosphorus but I watch it anyway. I have cut back on sugar also.
