After being off the Kidney harming meds and being on my diet for a month, my GFR went from 39 to 52 . Stage 3A from 3B . I am glad I get to celebrate something even if its for the moment . I know its just a snapshot of this time but I feel I can slow or stop this . Now its time for a Salad to celebrate LOL

GFR up !
I like your new attitude. Congratulations on the good numbers. Keep positive and if/when the GFR takes a slight drop, stay positive. One helpful tip, if with a new set of labs your GFR takes a drop, look at your potassium, phosphorus, protein, sodium, and calcium for an increase in the number, even if it's still inside the reference range. It's possible that that increase could be tied to the GFR drop. Also, keep your exercise regimen steady.
Continued success.
Whahoooo Good for you. I am celebrating you with my salad.

Mine has gone from 43 to 55, I walk twice a day, lost 12 lb, don’t follow a diet just watch my salt intake. Usually forget I even have a kidney problem,
It's so uplifting when the news is good! Thank you for sharing!
That’s good! Celebrate!
Congratulations and enjoy your salad.
Really glad at your success.
Which medicines you were taking that you have stopped
Diclofenac and pantoprazol for way to long . Being prescribed something does not always mean it’s good for you . My doctors never said a thing 😞
So happy to read about your good news. Keep us posted.
Good Work!!!! That is AWESOME news! You should be very proud of yourself, this lifestyle changes are not easy. Blessings
Way to Go !!! Keep up the good work!
Congratulations! That proves again that CKD can be reversed.
My eGFR increased from 18 to 60 in two years.
Keep up good work!
Cheers,
Andre
Awesome job !! Depending on the calculator used , my GFR went up from 53 to 71 or 62 or 78 - my dr said it is not an exact science and any one of those numbers would be correct if taken your weight into account (some do and some do not). The important thing is Creatinin goes down. Great job by you. Continue doing what you are doing. Stay active and eat right. The body is an amazing specimen.
Yesssss!!!!
Congrats...keep it up! Would you mind telling me what meds you were taking? I'm taking 2 and would love to get off of them and try the natural way
Diclofenac for my knees and pantroprazol for acid reflux . Being off of them I realize I can cope without them .
What diet are you on? Delighted for you xxx
