I've had a phone call from the hospital and they are going to do an ultrasound tomorrow afternoon (Saturday) . At least without warning you have no time to worry. Im so relieved as I need to know what problems i have with my kidneys. Its been a long 6 months wait!

Congratulations and RELAX. I've had six ultrasounds in the previous three years, with three of them coming last fall when they finally determined that I had gallstones and had to have surgery last October. Once they get the reading and have it "read" by the radiologist who will then send the information to your doctor who will then contact you.

When my first one was done last year it was actually a relief to know that they finally knew what was causing my pain. The last one, after the surgery was just to make sure that they didn't miss anything. I now have a small plastic bottle with a number of gallstones in it courtesy of my surgeon.
