Had a 24hr urine test and everything came back normal. My urine creatinine was in normal limits at 1500 but my blood was 1.4 (male). Should 1 be high without the other? I made a lot of diet changes in the last month before doing the urine test so I'm curious if the tests have no correlation or if I'm seeing improvement. Protein in my urine was still negative same as the spot checks I had done. The spot checks were dangerously close to +1 so I was able to bring it down even further in the 24hr test. Trying to be proactive as I'm getting to be borderline and dont want to wait until the doctor sees me in months to decide to make a change.

You need to follow the timing of the blood work and 24hr urine protocol very closely for the 24hr urine to yield valuable information. Doing your bloods the day before or the day after is a waste.
Having higher creatinine in the blood and lower in the urine is indicative of CKD because the kidneys are not filtering the waste from the blood properly. Stay away from eating products high in creatinine...MEAT. And dont overdue the workouts.
