My eGFR dropped from 106 to 103 in a matter of three months. How much should I be concerned?

Some good news, my ACR is 18.1; it was 59.2 three months ago.

Sam,

Sit tight and speak to your doctor. Your eGFR will fluctuate; hydration, who spun the specimen etc. can easily play a role. Plus, the drop is not significant.

I am so delighted to hear about your A1C - that is excellent! Have faith as you are doing many things right.

Alot had to do with the dietary changes we spoke about...amazing!

Keep up the good work and positive attitude.

Let me hear from you!

Speak with your doctor about this. But eGFR as well as BUN and creatinine can fluctuate especially if you don't always drink the same amount of water daily. eGFR greater than 60 is still considered in normal range. Congrats on your A1C!
