Ckd juice fasting

Hi i did exactly 29days juice fasting as i believed it could cure my kidney and reverse the ckd. However unsucceful. Anyone tried and managed to reverse their disease?

Hi Krys,

There are so many fad diets and cleanses out there. It is extremely rare to cure kidney disease. It is usually progressive. However, you can slow down the progression.

Please be careful with attempting a miracle cure. You can actually do more harm.

The best advice is following a renal diet and knowing what medications you are on and their affect on the kidney.

Please realize that CKD is usually due to damage, or scarring of your kidneys. There is NO miracle cure that will get rid of the scar tissue or cure the damage done to your kidneys. Please be careful with any of these "so called" cures. It just won't happen. in fact you need to be careful that you don't do more harm to your kidneys. Drink plenty of fluids daily and follow an approved renal diet. There are others on this site that have been successful in stopping the progression of their kidney disease. But believe me, if there was a magic cure out there, everyone would be taking it!
