That is good news. So pleased you too are finding is useful. I can honestly say that I have learnt more about CKD and obtained more useful advice from this forum than any health professional has ever had the time or inclination to provide me. And of course the understanding and support from this community has been of immense value to me.

Welcome! I have also found much helpful information and insight here. However, since there are many different viewpoints expressed here, it still behooves you to do your own research and make your own decisions, along with medical input and advice.

I'm glad to hear that this is a welcoming and useful forum for you. As WYOAnne stated, we are not experts, but we have been touched by CKD, ESRD, etc. in some way, and getting the perspective or even just having the understanding ears of those who have been through it or are currently experiencing it can mean a great deal. Hello Music61, Just to say that I find it very helpful to read through past posts as those of us who are not so new to CKD etc. are able to give advice to newcomers, (although we are not professionally trained - just living with renal problems) and it certainly makes me realise I am far from alone in dealing with life from day to day.
