Hey I have problemes with kidney stones, have one size 10 mm, the problem is that it is imbedded in the kidney with parenchyma destruction. Dr says they cant do anything not lazer it and they couldn't say if its infected either. I have a lot of pain and other health problems and i think this stone is one big problem. Anyone with simular problems? I Have kidney disease chronic pyelonephritis reflux gfr 70.

Is the doctor you referenced your PCP, a nephrologist or a general surgeon? In any case, I think a 2nd opinion might be in order. You made mention of other health issues and I'm wondering if any of those issues are preventing relief from the kidney stone?

There are no second opinons here just the hospital nephrologist /urlologist (sorry not english) I see a nephrologist once a year. Last CT was a year ago and before that I was very sick pyelonephritis or urosepsis had also stones leaving then and now this one still left in kidney and it really sucks. I don't feel well, have a flu feeling all the time and aches in all body. Nephrologist just say go to emergency if more problems. My labs are most normal esr 15, gfr 70, createnin 75 <90, albumin 37 (36-45). Im 45 year old. Thanks for answering:-)

Do they have you on any medicine? I had several large stones in my kidney which they said they could not remove. I was also passing a lot of smaller stones. I started taking allopurinol and they all went away.
