Thank you for your post. Excercise is indeed very important for health overall. My son had to recently cut down on his exercises as that may have been contributing to his increased creatinine and reduced EGFR. One option for active people with higher muscle mass is to measure cistatine c I believe. However, most doctors don’t do cistatine c tests and rely solely on creatinine for egfr. It’s particularly unfortunate for active people who are fit enough to undertake strenuous excercises.
Walking may be a good substitute ??? Not very he-man tho 😾

Hey, I don't know about the he-man stuff, but in the winter I do a lot of walking. It gets the heart going and if I go fast enough it gets me back home quicker and that's where the fireplace is.
