Don't Ever Give Up

I have finally gotten my transplant. It was my 4th match this year. My first match, I had bronchitis and had to pass on the kidney. The next two times the kidney was not viable by the time it was harvested. My 4th time was the winner. Be sure you keep up your spirit and keep up your exercise program. These are two keys to your transplant success. Good luck.

I'm so glad to hear your good news! I will probably be in your shoes eventually. I also have a nephew on the list for transplant. I hope I will be in good shape when given the same opportunity. I also hope you are feeling better. I would be interested to hear how you feel on the meds. Thanks for sharing!

What fantastic news, the highs and lows must have been hard, but that can all be put behind you.

Glad you've got a transplant. Hope you are adjusting to a new life and started to feel a lot better.

Take care and keep us posted on your progress. It's always nice to hear success stories.

Idell, what is it like? Do you feel better? I've heard that people feel 20 years younger after the transplant. I've also heard that they didn't know how sick they really were until they felt better.
