Woke up feeling energetic!

Managed to stick to my salad last night! Need to go shopping for more greens and fish now so I can eat with the boys tonight:)

I felt rough yesterday and ate a box of chocolates... but I feel OK today.

Yes glad Darling that you are not bludgeoning yourself about the head with a pedal bin about it but a BOX of chocolates is too big a fall for your dieting self esteem. Simply dont have boxes of chocs in the house but only a small bar of chocolate and some dates. And thats the Small Bar, no more. When you've fallen on the chocolate and want more, the dates will still give you a sugar fix but without all the other ingredients. Eventually, lose tbe habit of the small bar, but only when you feel tbe dates will do the trick. If you live with others who eat choccy or someone gets a choccy prezzie ask them to hide them, so you're not tempted. Lastly, please ask yourself what your feeling 'ROUGH' meant, and whether eating that box of sugar and fat has still made you feel better today. Promise you, I'm not being holier than thou. Ive been there Darling, believe me. My Devil in a Box? Maltesas. May they melt into the managing director's expensive trouser pocket. Good luck. Betty xx

It was only a small box of chocolates.

We only get “significant” birthdays every ten years!

I still have boxes of chocolates in the fridge that I have not eaten since I got them at Christmas!

I am still in my maintenance range.

I did feel better - and I did not get the "insulin rush" desire to eat more.
