I watched fat surgeons last evening and oh how I resonated with the people represented. I am energised today to attempt to control my vivacious appetite. Binge eating disorder. Where can I find the 12 week eating plan please. Day 1. Focussed 🙏🏻

Hi leither55 and welcome! This is a great place to hang out and get inspitation! Lots and lots of support from the folks on here.

I used to go to Slimming World and Weight Watchers and think that just going to the weigh in and listening to the class leader was all I needed to do! I would hate the idea that I was not going to lose weight and the sorts of excuses I was forced to make as to why that was.

I love the calorie counting way - it's about being accountable and honest with myself. Nothing is forbidden. No food is "free". I can check the calories the food contains and it is me who makes the choice about whether I want to eat it or not.

I won't say it all falls into place just like that, but once you can get your head around the simple fact that less calories in vs more calories out = weight loss, it becomes a whole lot easier!

Welcome leither55

As part of the 12 week plan, please ensure you acquire your personal calorie range from the NHS BMI calculator and not the generic 1400 mentioned in the download.

There's still time to join today's weekly weigh-in...

Good luck and shout out if you have any questions at all.

Hi leither55, welcome to the forum. I am in full agreement with Pineapple, one of my favourite fruits by the way. ;) I just cannot get my head around either WW or SW and their free food. Everything we eat has calories, so calorie counting is the easiest way to go about it, at least it is for me.
