It's all down to personal preference, Wadestreet. I used to weigh weekly, then changed to daily and now weigh monthly.
At the beginning I weighed weekly, but got a horrible shock when my weight jumped up one weigh-in day, for no reason, that I could discern.
I moved onto daily weighing, so that I could track the anomalies in my weight more closely and therefore not get any shocks.
When I decided to maintain, I wanted to feel 'normal' and not obsess about my weight. I wanted to know that I could follow my instincts, regarding my food and exercise, without relying on a machine.
Each of the above was the right thing for me to do, at that particular time. You'll need to find the right way for you
I am way to impatient to wait a month!! a week is hard enough sometimes.
I weigh in at work on Monday Tuesday and Friday to keep myself in check. So far, so good. I hear it's best to do once a week because of the fluctuations. Whatever works for you.
