Week 17

a few of you know I've been treating my weight loss journey as an experiment. Fortunately this experiment is this time actually working and resulting in weight loss in my efforts to find out why I became fat in the first place...

I've completed first 12 weeks and lost 11 pounds. On my second leg I decided to see if it were possible to maintain what I'd lost for a few weeks introducing new foods, I did maintain and then bang I put on a pound over four weeks or so. I thought this would happen but it's taught me how to maintain for holidays and special events.... I'm now back on track ive managed to lose that pound with mindful eating and I haven't denied myself.

My next journey though is the next two stone weight loss during the next few months until my goal month which I've set at November....

I've not been able to exercise do to medical health problems re my ear and balance so eventually when I can exercise it will be a great bonus.

I'm actually looking forward to the next few weeks, any weigh loss on top of what I've lost even if it's an ounce I'm happy with.

I realise now in weight loss the effort you put in shows great results and if you know why you've gained the mathematics so to speak which is quite simple you can lose weight....

I'm enjoying my food. I intend to take the first holiday during November and be able to eat and not feel guilty. I never really enjoyed my food due to guilt and thinking this will make me fat. I know there's a few like me out there.

In actual fact you can eat anything you desire as long as you count it or make up for it the day after if you've had a special occasion etc.,

Why I'm saying this to you is ENJOY your food, nourish your body, if one day you do something bad don't think of it like that think I'll get back on track and re nourish body with good stuff tomorrow or next hour or whenever but don't get in the trap of feeling bad because you ate something you think is off limits, no food is off limits just COUNT IT .................... Your not going to put two much weigh on if any in 24 hours and if the scales show a gain the next day just be more mindful. Don't think oops I've blown it , think I enjoyed myself but hey I've got to do some work today and make up for it...... Food is my greatest pleasure ... Make it yours too.
