Morning walk

Tiggerr profile image

I missed the best shot, when the sun was below the cloud line. There are a couple of dogs nearby but they didn't understand the quite simple command of "Get over there between me and the sun so I can take a photo before the sun disappears!!!!".

Poor training I know.

I've never met a dog that will be in the right place at the right time.

Fortunately its about 50 yards from the house so don't have to travel far and why I normally feel invigorated dog walking... even in the dark.

Camera shy?

Aren't they all? As soon as a camera appears, dogs seem to disappear or doing anything that isn't the pose you wanted from them.

As soon as I get my camera out, my black lab Winston, starts to grab big sods of grass with his teeth and shake the life out of them! He doesn't bother when I use my phone to take pics. Have no idea why he is such a fool, but it is rather funny...xx

Sounds brill, is there one you can post? I like the name Winston. We had a St. Bernard called Hudson but Winston would have worked as well... it has an imperious take to it. Actually that's his head in my side photo.

A lovely tranquil setting nothing beats a sunrise or a stunning sunset

Totally agree. That shot was nice but only a few minutes earlier the whole countryside was a fantastic red... ho hum, another day.

Lovely picture Tiggerr, you were up and about early with your dogs. The best part of the day really. It must have looked beautiful bathed in red. You are very lucky to have that right on your doorstep. Have a good day.

Thanks lucigret. Yeah, I know I'm lucky and it can help when I'm having a down moment.

I hope you have a good day too.

What a lovely picture it's lovely when it's early morning and there's hardly anyone around, beautiful sun rises makes you feel life is good ❤

Yes it does, which is what made me feel like sharing it. I don't normally see the sunrise yet but I woke up late and this Sunday I'll definitely be back in the black when the clocks go forward. I like the dark as well, so that's not a problem.

Morning Tiggerr

That looks fabulous

What a lovely start to your day.

Good things in life are free, we just have to take some time out and look. Lovely x

Thanks Gemini, I agree about the free stuff. The Flying Lizards new that but still all they wanted was money (more fool them!) :)

Lol! Great track!

I like both versions 😉

Did you loose this week. I didn't see your post. Are you nearly at your goal now ? 🙂

Tiggerr profile image
Tiggerr in reply to Gemini64

My weight loss is a bit slower nowadays but fairly steady. 0.7kg lost so my mini goal is 1.6kg away. Not too far away but not something I can move in one week any more. I've still lost plenty on the March challenge :)

How are you doing?

Btw... 'knew' not 'new' in previous post.

I've lost my first reply to you! Lol

I did notice the "knew" and "new"! Lol

Please feel free to correct my grammar and especially my spelling!

You are so focused and I'm really flakey! How much have you lost in total ?

Really confused with my fit bit, I love it 😍 it's my best friend ( does that make me sad)! Lol

I think I've decided to not eat my extra calories burned by any exercise ( in my case steps)

I'm struggling to do my C25K each week many because I'm too tired ( I did 61 hours) last week (carer) and energy levels of an old lady 👵 means I have to crash when I get in! 😕

I'm going to try and plan my weeks food. I've never attempted this before but it might keep me on the straight and narrow.

Thanks for chatting and good luck for next week 👍😊

Yep and now's the time for me to move myself a bit more. Still have to get over the part of my brain that's half slug but I'm getting there.
