After a hard day feeling kind of pleased with my self

Well, had a really horrid day in the NHS today , lots of folk wanted attention, lots of waiting for them , and lots of frayed tempers . I felt battered !

My last years response would have been chocolate in the department , then wine and chips when I arrived home , with the possibility of jam sandwiches whilst I waited for tea

But no . Arrived home , had a cup of tea, changed and out for a run . Feeling so much happier now

What a difference a year makes

Very little beats a run for helping to ease tension following a stressful day at work. Glad you enjoyed it.

I think cat cuddles are more fun, well they certainly help me, if the dearest cat queen is home!

I spend a lot of time in hospitals and around medical staff both due to own health problems and those of my mum and son. You are amazing and deal with peoplewwho are in their most vulnerable state and anxious and tired. Thank you for your care and kindness. And well done for avoiding the jam sandwiches!!!!

Fantastic!! It sort of helps having it in the back of your mind during the stressful times that you have a strategy you know will be properly effective with a good outcome all round . Well done you , especially at this time of year and for coping with the difficult public!! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜Š

Thank you for being part of the wonderful NHS.

4 stone in a year?! That's inspirational.

Fabulous 😊 So glad the run helped you - it's a very stressful job you do and I have nothing but admiration πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ˜Š

Wow - that is certainly one way to deal with a stressful day! I work in back office NHS and I really take my hat off to the front line staff, who have long, tiring shifts and work all through the holidays looking after us when we are all on our holidays. You are the backbone of the country!!
