Saw the hip specialist today and I'm booked in for a hip replacement in March šŸ˜„

I feel like I've come alive after all these dark days in pain I couldn't get any enthusiasm about Christmas but now I can feel at peace šŸŽ„

I have my free Weight Watchers offer and that's for 12 weeks it couldn't be more perfect The best thing is that the doctor assured me I will be recovered for my sons wedding I had been so worried about that

I feel 2017 will see a new beginning

Thanks to everyone who has given me such lovely support over the past long months You have really been a lifeline to me šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

Hi Cat33,

Brilliant news that you've got your hip replacement operation booked for March. Glad you're feeling more at peace now and have some enthusiasm for Christmas, that is so great. :-)

Excellent that you've got your free sessions with WW, and that you will be recovered for your son's Wedding. 2017 is definitely going to be a new beginning for you.

Have a really good week.

Lowcal :-)

Just look at how quickly Craig Revel-Horwood (from Strictly) recovered from his hip replacement; it shows what great things they can do for you these days! Great that you have a date and can start planning your life again. All the best!

Oh yes forgot about him I've heard really good things about the op Yes that's exactly how I feel I can plan again I felt very lost just getting through one day at a time and just being dished out more painkillers

Thank you very much x

March isn't long to wait now! You should be planning what you're going dance at the wedding ... strictly style.

Oh thank you that's lovely Yes planning to be as slim as Louise Redknap and dance like Danny Mack Oh well I can dream can't I šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

I love getting up on the dancefloor and it was really upsetting me that I'd probably be just sat in a chair watching everyone

So pleased for you Cat33 , being in pain is miserable and no fun. A new beginning for you and a wedding to look forward to as well. I am recovering from a painful shoulder / neck which is restricting and been stuck at home a lot, so know how you feel. Managed to drive my car for the first time in weeks yesterday so life is expanding again for me thank goodness ! Wishing you a happy Xmas and the very best of luck with your op.x

It is so wearing to be in constant pain isn't it I'm glad you are driving again it's a great feeling to get independence back

Shoulder and neck pain must have been horrible for you and being stuck at home is hard going sometimes isn't it

Thank you for your kind wishes you have a lovely Christmas too and from the photo you have the most adorable little dog šŸ˜€

Thank you, yes our little westie forced me out for walkies when I was feeling very down, which did lift my mood and was a bit of exercise even when weather was not ideal. She has kept me company on the sofa when watching far too much daytime TV lately as well. Best Wishes.

Dogs are great company and they do get you out She looks gorgeous I was thankful for my cat as my husband is at work all day and it was difficult to see people when I was in so much pain so she was company

I know what you mean about daytime tv

Hopefully we will both be well in 2017 šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ˜€
