I'm just setting out on the 12 week weight loos programme having been overweight or obese for the past 25 years... Over the years I've tried to lose weight on my own with varying degrees of success and failure but having reached an age when I feel the need to look after myself a bit better I have set about trying to control my food intake a lot more seriously and up the exercise levels to see where it takes me... 5 days into this means there is still a long way to go but just not eating chocolate for a few days has made me start to feel a lot better.. I've always exercised whatever my BMI and have enjoyed getting out on my bike and and had a good swim... I am just hoping going public will help me stay on the straight and narrow... I know there will be bad days but I hope they will get fewer and further between and less disastrous as I progress through this next 3 months
