my weight lose so far

hi all im new one here i straggle lose weight for years when i was a teen, my biggest was 16.11 last Christmas im on around 16 stone mark know, past few months the weight not dropping of, when i do it will go back on. i do eat healthy have 3 meals day and 5 day or more, when i do snack its on fruit and veg. past 3 weeks im back on slimming world doing it at home and following the plan, next week i got healthy lifestyle app and hopefully they help me more. i also got blood test to see if i got type 2 d. i know i need to do more excise but again i do straggle and get the motivation to do it and i dont work so that can affect of how much excise i do , if i was working i will be moving around doing tasks boost the excise

    You've come to just the right place for support and motivation. I don't work either, so that leaves us in the enviable position of having the choice of how and when to exercise :)

  • Hi Lauraj and welcome, I started my weight loss exactly 6 weeks ago today on Monday I had lost 1 stone exactly I started at 17.1 so 16.1 when weighing in on Monday. I hope you download the 12 week plan it really is easy to do and you kind of start to think differently about what foods you choose to eat to keep within your allowance, nothing is denied, I think that is why it works it is not a diet but a new mind set on eating. I work for my husband but am at home too, I recently got over a period of depression due to personal circumstances and know how hard it is to make yourself look positively but you can do it because you are in control of yourself no one else. Do you have a pedometer or fit bit type of fitness band it is good to measure your steps during the day and your active minuets etc. I saw you are doing SW good if it works for you if not give the 12 week plan a go. Good luck keep posting your progress as there are lots of tips on motivational tips to keep you going on here.

    Well done on healthy eating and making good lifestyle choices. If your weight is not coming down you may just need a coupke of tweaks to your food intake, just a small reduction in portion size and a gentle increase in activity, you will be surprised at the results quite simple changes can make 😊 This will also help the potential health issues 😊
