Weekend and feeling deprived

It's conditioned me well ! The weekend has always been known as 'treat time' treat time for me has always meant, lots of everything unhealthy, usually chocolate pizza garlic bread, sour cream etc etc etc..... Seeing my oh sit down with crisps etc leaves me feeling deprived so this week I changed something, I kept busy. I had my bath later, came down had my food, sensible food, then went to bed. It did work. There was little time for me to sit and feel deprived. I'm aware it might seem a bit sad but it did work...... it's obviously , as always, work in progress........ With Easter looming I will miss my usual holiday feasts so some planning and non food treats are to be thought out ......... Make up ? Massage ? The quit sugar is going well, easier than I thought it would be bit all these lovely eater eggs !!! I just want to bury my head in them all 😊

How is everyone doing at the moment ?????

Hi Trier,

I think you've coped with the weekend really well - made some really positive changes, and dealt with what can be a typically challenging period of time! Really good strategies, and you're already planning how to cope with the Easter period.

You're sounding positive and optimistic too, which should stand you in good stead for the week ahead.

You've asked how everyone's doing - well, I've had what I feel was quite a tough week - contending with my period (which seemed to zap my energy more than usual), and lots of work, and also didn't get to the gym or do any of my Strength exercises - so it's been a mixed week. I feel I could have done a lot better, but at the same time, I'm trying not to be hard on myself.

I'm not really looking forward to the weigh-in tomorrow, but I am sure I will feel better about it once I do some pre-planning to help next week go better. So that will be the plan, for later today, and in the meantime I now have the mammoth task of an afternoon of cleaning. :-) I am currently being spurred on by the thought that I would like to be 12 stone 12 pounds by Easter Monday - for the Easter Bunny Challenge, so that's keeping me on track (at least in my mind!).

Hope you have a great week ahead.

Lowcal :-)

I've has a fairly good weekend, and ate 700 cals in Choc, if only the Easter egg had not been given, oh well........

Managed to change things tho, and only had 2 meals instead of 3, healthy brunch and dinner, today has been ok, despite being at work 8 till 4.30, I over ate Friday, sure I've lost tho, we see tomm?!
