First Time Here!

Hi everyone, this is my first time here and i hope you're a friendly bunch! I currently need to lose 2 stones 5lbs to get to a healthy BMI so, I'm counting on you lot for support. I've lost weight with Weight Watchers in the past and tried Slimming World (for two weeks, couldn't handle the lack of bread) but this time I'm giving the NHS calorie counted diet a go. Something has to work eventually..... Wish me luck!

Hi Bakerlady,

Welcome to the forum, it's a great place to be for advice and support! They are all very friendly! The 12 week plan has been the only thing so far that has helped me get my portion size under control and such. I found ww was too restrictive and sw not restrictive enough! I think you'll enjoy the calorie counting, it's opened a whole new world up of food for me. Having been restricted for so long with slimming clubs, I'd forgotten what real food tasted like.

Good luck and keep posting!

Just posted my first weight in. Knowing I have to do it every Monday will hopefully keep the motivation going. I'm treating it as a slimming club without weekly fees or a patronising leader (I've met a couple of crackers in my time!)

Hi we are friendly. Welcome and good luck
