Hi,
Weight loss has been going very slowly for me the last few weeks and to be honest I was getting a bit fed up! So last week I said to myself, right lets up the anti and if it doesn't work then at least I know I tried... I cut out most processed sugars (but did have a brownie on friday oops!) and upped my cardio vascular exercise - making sure my heart rate was high for at least 40mins each work out.... and it seems like it worked! I've lost 3lbs this week which Im really pleased about, I can't say it was easy though! I mustn't get complacent either - what I know is that weight loss doesn't come naturally to me and I really have to work at it. I already lead a healthy active lifestyle so it's not something I need to change but I have to work hard to shift this extra weight I've piled on through over indulgences like holidays/christmas/parties/dinner out/stress/ilness
I'm off on holiday next week so won't be posting for a couple of weeks, and although I'm not going to stress about loosing weight I certainly don't want to gain any. I was thinking about taking my scales with me, or is this just insanity? I just think if I take my eye off the ball the weight will go back on. We have a pool and I'm planning on doing lot's of swimming and walking so hopefully that will combat the effects of gelato! ; )
