Exercise at home

Hi all

In browsing healthunlocked communities i have come across the link below. If you are like me and don't like the idea of gyms or need to feel fitter before venturing outside for a run or a way to support weight loss by burning extra calories then join me in my challenge to do the 20 min exercises (includes warm up and cool down) every day over the 12 week weight loss challenge.

  • Hello there Crissy ! First of all i am so glad that there are so many people joining the community and taking action for themselves. I just wanted to tell you that i am also with you and i am going to be a part of this 12 week weight loss challenge. Keep up the good work !

  • I'm like you not keen on the gym. I used to go everyday but now I'm so over weight that idea horrifies me. One of the parents at my school runs a gym and he has tried to encourage me to go. He said that one of the mistakes people often make is not changing their exercise routine and the body adjusts.

    The exercises look good and it might be worth trying to vary the various plans to keep your body on its toe. I have invested in the EA active wii game so I will let you know how it goes. We can compare note. Good luck.

  • Thanks, have bookmarked link. I have a broken wrist from going ice skating but as soon as out of cast i will be joining in.

  • great stuff, although ice skating must also burn calories. good luck with wrist mending.
