Epsom salts and IPN

Hello all. As part of the treatment for IPN I have been soaking my feet in Epsom salts befor massaging with peppermint based cream. Saw a Podiatrist for ingrown toenail. He said never use Epsom salts. Just some plain salt. Epsom salts have an

Acidic quality that may be exacerbating the neuropathy. So I switched and my neuropathic symptoms have eased somewhat.

Just want to pass on. Gail
