If you still haven't come on from your last period and you done a test and it was negative then your prob not pregnant, if you still haven't come on then go to your dr, they can do ur bloods to see if your pregnant or not, the hormones don't show up and the earliest you can check is 4 days before your due, the clearblue digital are the best

Some advise that you wait until after your longest cycle, so for me my cycle was pretty regular at 28 days but I had had ones that were 33 so I waited until 34 then took the test.

I would agree with the above comment I took a test when my period was due and I got a negative so I assumed I wasn't pregnant but a week and a half later still no period so I took another and positive!! Sometimes your hormone levels are not high enough for a urine test to detect whether it is a clearblue test or not :) good luck!! Xxx

Have you missed any periods at all? It is hard when you are trying, babies are everywhere all of a sudden and every period is a disappointment.

If you haven't missed a period then try not putting too much pressure on yourself, it is harder to get pregnant than your parents/school teachers would have you believe when you're a teenager and it is easy to get anxious when it doesn't happen straight away.

Have a glass of wine while you still can and have fun trying!

As for tests, the best time is a few days after your period is due, and clearblue digital ones are great.

Enjoy your birthday whatever the result.

I wadnt trying but i would love a baby if you know what i mean im only 16 and people think its too yoing but theres alot of teenages that are better mothers than some adults...

Hi Hannah, you are so young! I'm 32 and pregnant with my first, I have a good job and a lovely husband. I guess in my teens and twenties my priorities were going out drinking, partying all night etc etc.

You will do what you want in the end just make sure the father is a decent guy and wants this as much as you do.

It isn't easy at any age but I have to say I do feel a bit wiser now, I love my husband and I know he wants this as much as I do which is great.

Like I said don't put too much pressure on yourself, it really doesn't help!!

Hi littlebill, i know alot of people wait nowadays but i want my granny and that to see me have a child and whatnot :D yeah i dont drink tbh atall and if i do it isnt much:) yeah the father wants this too hes so excited to find out the hopefully were going to have a child he has a brilliant job and hes amazing with kids.

Yeah i know it wont be easy but hopefully my family will support me :) im trying not to im gonna be working with dad alot for the next few weeks so itll be easier on me taking my mind off everything and itll go quicker when i go to do the test on the 3rd of april a day before my birthday haha:D

I know someone who had a baby at 16 she is 30 now with 2 more children, still with the same partner, but I'm sure she would of wanted too be more prepared, but there's so much to see if the world! holidays travelling, making sure you have a stable home, do it up lovely, do ur driving lessons get a car, so ur prepared for everything, have money saved, your want to give you're child everything, but if u have all this worked out then you have thought all this through, then all the best ,it's the most rewarding job in the world x

Hi hannahdeex - hope you're feeling ok :)

I just wanted to say that if you think you might be pregnant, it can be better to take a pregnancy test as soon as possible - this is because if the test is positive, and you want to continue with the pregnancy, you'll need to start taking folic acid supplements. Folic acid helps to prevent serious conditions in the baby, such as spina bifida, and you need to start taking it as soon as possible.

Also, I wouldn't worry about getting a clearblue pregnancy test. I think they can be quite expensive. I used a Sainsbury's one and it worked fine!

Best of luck x
