Hi all, I guess I'm just reaching out to see who's out there. I'm 32yo and 5weeks 4days pregnant for a baby my partner and I have been trying for for 6 months. This is my 2nd pregnancy, my beautiful 12 year old son was a dream child and pregnancy 100% natural birth in another country. I was only 19/20 years old back then though. My body feels a lot different now. I am very bloated and that hasn't died down since I expected my period a couple of weeks ago. Cramps too in evening more than daytime. No other symptoms so far other than quite bad breast tenderness and odd bit of nausea- again in evenings. Any others out there in the same position or had a long gap between babies?
Bit of a nothing post, but I just thought I'd introduce myself really 😊.

Hi I’m also 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant today, 3rd pregnancy after 12 years, I’m also having the same symptoms the cramps in the evening are too much for me with the nausea. 🙂
Oh wow what are the odds! That's uncanny! Congratulations! 3rd how wonderful! Do you already have one of each? I'm so glad I'm not the only one! Yes the cramps are no fun because they just make me worry like, is that a normal pain? Is....that a normal pain? Over and over! But I refuse to get full on anxious with it so I just distract myself. Thank you so much for reaching out!
Hey the odds are definitely uncanny indeed! 😀 I have one of each and I’m the same keep thinking is this pain normal I’m trying not to become anxious either! Congratulations 🎉
I'm 33 and 5 weeks + 1 day pregnant with my second - not too far behind you
My daughter is 15 - I was relieved to see other Mums with a similar gap between the two - I am feeling very nervous about being older this time around!
I have also had the same symptoms with cramps, a bit of nausea and sore boobs! Think I remember the cramps from the first time around but it's still hard not to worry!
Yey hello fellow large gap mumma! So glad there are a few of us i don't really understand the days plus weeks etc, how many weeks does that make you? Exciting times.
I'm glad this post put you at ease, I had such a wonderful pregnancy and beautiful natural birth with my first but I was so much younger and felt more capable if I'm honest. I'm already toted and sore normally in my 30s let alone being pregnant! Lol.
Where in the world are you based?
Thank you for responding, seems we are getting a little network! Love it!
Congratulations on your bundle of joy. How is your teen with the news? Xx
I also wanted to reach out as I’ve just turned 35 and just had my second baby daughter who is now 7weeks old and I also have a 14 year old son who like yourself was an absolute dream pregnancy when I was also 19/20, this one took 7 years and an ivf round to get her into the world, which we feel so blessed to finally have her here, my son absolutely loves the bones of his baby sister and even helps us out it’s so lovely!
Definitely feel different this time around being an older mum etc, wanted to wish you all the very best in your pregnancies!!
Im here if you need any advice or just to reach out!😊 x
That post melted my heart, I'm so glad that it's all come together so well for you! How did you find the pregnancy this time round? Absolutely thrilled for you and your family! My son is super excited to finally have a sibling but he is gutted its so big an age gap, I remind him that he's had 12 years of undivided attention though! Haha.
Thank you so much for reaching out, its so lovely and helpful to hear! I'll follow you and feel free to reach out also, everyone can always use another friend xx
