Potty training gone from good to bad

I started potty training my 2years7months old lb a few weeks ago it started of really well but now it just all gone wrong, I can not get him to wee on the potty apart from pure luck of having him on the potty when he needs a wee, he doesn't seem to show any signs anymore and doesn't seem bothered at all that he is wet, I have read lots of books etc I am wondering if people agree it may be time to give up for couple of weeks and try again in a few weeks when he may be more ready I just don't know as my oldest trained in 2 days, just feel like a losing a battle but I don't want to make him scared or anxious about the potty, I have tried charts, treats, picking his own potty alsorts I just at end of list on what to do other then giving up for a few weeks advice please

My advice would be to leave our a while and be patient, for some just takes a little while longer to get. Be really excited and happy about the ones you catch on the potty and ignore the ones you don't. You sound like you're doing everything you should be. Also if he's in disposables, they're so good now that a lot of times children might not even realise they're wet. Maybe you could try at home in some training style pants to set off he spots his wetness quicker?

My advice would be to leave him for a while this what I did with my second one-shot got scared and couldn't sleep 3days(bless her)as soon as I noticed I stop her but we keep watching videos -read books and I kept taking with her if I go toilet I will tell her"look mumy is going bc she is not wearing nappie)sister also going so eventually when I started again she understand and I don't have much problem.

Please don't take stress,take small small step every day you get there🥰🥰🥰🥰
