Contact your midwife. They will check you. Whilst you wait, drink a sugary drink and lie on your side. Always get reduced movement checked out x

As above - and don't be worried about 'wasting their time', they will tell you 100% any concerns you have to go in and get them checked out. I've just come back from 2 hours at the hospital thinking I had fluid leaking. Doesn't look like it is (thank goodness) but Dr, nurse and sonographer all told me I absolutely did the right thing going in. Dr also mentioned if you go 4 hrs without feeling baby move then get it checked out. Hope everything's ok xxx

Trying drinking a glass of cold water. Be active for a few minutes then sit still and breathe calmly and deeply into your tummy. See if there’s any movement after that.

Regardless, if you’ve noticed a change or decline in movement the advice from midwives is to get it checked out ASAP. They want you to do this, so just give them a call. Better to sure and get that peace of mind.

Yes as above, contact your daycare unit or midwife, I had a change in movement with my last pregnancy and my midwife sent me in to hospital and they monitored the babys heart beat. Everything was fine, just baby changed its routine for some reason, but it was much relief to know all was well. Drinking cold drinks do help wake them and get them moving, maybe a mouthful of Sprite Zero as that always sends my baby kicking lots.

Have a cold glass of water. That used to get my little one going!

Try not to panic too much. The advice is to not track movements until 28 weeks as the baby can still change its routine a lot. Definitely get in touch with your midwife but it's very normal for things to change in terms of movement.

Any updates?
