Flu jab worry

Hi guys, I am currently 19 weeks pregnant and due to being unwell at xmas and after xmas (cough, cold etc), I was advised to get the flu jab once fully better. I am now better, and have tried to book myself for a jab at the gp, but have been told that they no longer do the flu jab as the season has finished. Ive called most pharmacies near me and they dont have any jabs left either.

I am now really worried as I keep coming across articles saying that pregnant women are high risk of death during pregnancy or during birth or after birth if they dont have the flu jab. Not sure what to do? Did you ladies have the jab? Should I be worried?

I would contact your midwife and ask her. My local hospital had a clinic running if I couldn’t go to my GP surgery xx

When you go for your 20’week scan could you not try and speak to someone at the hospital about the flu jab. I had an emergency scan today and there was a HCA handing out leaflets explaining about the vaccines saying anyone pregnant could just go in and see her to be vaccinated x
