Endometriosis Research

Hi all,

I'm not pregnant but I'm a Writer and have created a character who is and who has suffered with Endometriosis throughout her life; the pregnancy was unexpected. I'm researching the problems this can cause for an expectant mother and wondered whether anyone, either having been in this situation or currently going through it, would be willing to discuss the pitfalls, worries, procedures and concerns they have had or are experiencing. I don't want to delve too deep as I appreciate this is a very sensitive and personal issue but any feedback would be welcomed; this is one of my favourite characters so I want to do her justice.

If you're happy for me to contact you, please do let me know.

Thank you in advance and good luck to all you lovely pregnant women out there. You have my utmost respect.

Best

Hi I can help, I got diagnosed with endo 12 years ago and have 2 children. My second child was a surprise as I was told I wouldn't be able to have any others as my egg quality wasn't great.

Let me know how I can help.
