Worried about bleeding.

Hi I had a baby 16 weeks ago and everything has been ok with my lady parts. But I had a period 7 days ago and it was normal. Now for the past 3 days I have started bleeding bright red with clots and guey stuff. Today I have severe cramps and ache in my bottom back. I came off my pill cezette 2 wks ago as it was effecting my moods. Can some advise if it could b me coming off my pill that's causing all the problems down there or could it be something else? My by said it could b a miscarriage but I'm not sure....... any advise would b very much appreciated x

I'm not sure but it sounds like the heavy periods I used to get which were caused by fybroids and when I was very stressed. In any case best thing to do is tell your GP asap for peace of mind. I know my sister in law had really crappy periods after her second was born and she was taking aspirin which GP said had thinned her blood so she "soaked" more and my best friend just started getting heavy periods out of the blue and her GP prescribed medication that thickened the blood so it wasn't so heavy. Either way, there will be a remedy that makes you more comfortable. Take care and get to the Dr.
