Getting up from the commode is now becoming difficult. Has anyone got any tips on aids to help or any practical tips to help?

Thanks

I have the same problem albeit with the toilet rather than a commode and I now have an electric seat raiser which has solved the problem. Details can be found here: liftseat.co.uk/vertica-lift... to the blurb it does work with a commode. The owner is very helpful, in fact he knows more about IBM than my GP! The only downside is that it is quite expensive. I was lucky in that my local OT said they had a used one in store and I could have it free of charge.
