I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with these two at once. I’m concerned about what to do for my friend who is sick at the moment.

A few things to offer someone during difficult time is prepared food, help cleaning, picking up things from the store, help with kids or pets, or driving them to a medical appointment. They may appreciate you checking in daily to see how they are doing.

I never know which virus I have, but have had plenty from my children over the years. It can make MS symptoms miserable. You are so kind to ask for ideas to help your friend!

I take vitamin C and D, drink green tea, beef up the antioxidants when not feeling well. Hope this helps and they feel better soon.

I had RSV right after Christmas of 2023. I was miserable. It was like the worst flu I ever had. My throat was on fire, I had to use a nebulizer so I could breathe. I was wiped out for a solid two weeks. As for your friend, if married with kids, take them a meal. Anything to lift the load for the family. Just a spouse? Still take them a meal. Once your friend starts feeling like they will live again, what about an audio book? It's easier to lay and listen than holding a book. I wish someone had done these for me! Healthy wishes sent to your friend.
