I needed this today! I had to have a temporary stent removed from my nonexistent gall bladder, and they gave me some kind of different anesthesia that was pure h*ll. I assured them that I was fine and ready to leave, but in reality I only managed it because I pictured my late grandfather sitting on my shoulder and urging me to just put one foot in front of the other and get out of there! Had my son not also been tugging me along, I think I would have collapsed in the hallway.

It was a good 4 hours after we got home before the anesthesia fully wore off, but it worked out well -- My daughter felt bad that I was so miserable, so she had my favorite pizza delivered! Two mediums (because she also ordered one for my long-suffering son) came to $45 before the tip, so we don't order pizza very often!

Its funny but many times I have been sitting in the living room and think, "I should walk over and do this or that" and then I remember that I will need to get my walker or else crawl across the floor. Ah, the good old days. MS is obviously very inconvenient, to say the least, but we all manage it as best we can.
