First off, everyone at MSAA wants to extend our thanks to you, our members, for sharing your personal insights and stories to make this online community forum an impactful place for people with MS and their care partners. Because it is a place to be personal - and because everyone's experience with MS is different - we understand that conflicting views and opinions can arise on certain discussion threads.
We strive to make My MSAA Community on the HealthUnlocked platform a safe and supportive place for ALL to share experiences and find the right information and encouragement. Please understand that by using this forum, you are accepting all of its guidelines. Below is a reminder of the most important My MSAA Community Guidelines, ones aimed at creating a safe and supportive community for all of our members:
1. Be kind, respectful, and understanding of one another. Actively listen & keep in mind that everyone deals with their own private challenges in different ways.
2. Post from your own experience. ("For me, this worked..." rather than "You should do this...")
3. This is a space for peer-to-peer and emotional support. My MSAA Community does not replace the relationship or advice given by your healthcare professional
4. Provide your sources of information. Use well-known sources of information and add the URL to your reply or post.
5. MSAA is a United States-based organization. Anyone joining should keep in mind that some individuals may be commenting/posting from various countries.
6. This community should not be used for commercial or personal promotion. No selling, no soliciting, no spam.
