As our community grows and we approach 4,000 members, we would like to take a quick moment to remind everyone about our Community Guidelines and the HealthUnlocked Guidelines:
As our guidelines state, this community is designed to be "a safe, supportive, informative, and friendly community for people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS)," and that "participation in this community should be with respect, honesty, and in the spirit of supporting and learning from fellow users."
Thank you to all of our community members who make this a supportive and welcoming space for people affected by MS! We hope everyone continues to get to know one another and share their experiences.

"Informative" is my take-away here!
Of course not missing the respect and honesty part!
MSAA_Staff Thank you for the great post reminding and informing us of why we are here! To share our feelings about being diagnosed with MS, to show our caring for each other by answering questions with support, inspiring each other with our MS humor, information available on our MSAA site to inform each other, assist each other with positive thoughts and comments. And when we are down, we know that all we need do is mention it, there will be someone here to lift our spirits, encourage us with positive information & care.
I know when I first came here, I wasn't even diagnosed yet, but I knew I'd found a community of caring fellow MS'ers that quickly became like family. WAshingtongirl , jimeka , Jesmcd2 , erash , greaterexp , and many others had quickly become friends, MS family that helped me get through some tough times. I thank them from the heart! ❤️🧡💖
So Big Thanks to EmilyM375 and johnMSAA for this post and their guidance along the way!
Thank you Emily for the timely reminder. I really like the part about learning from one another and supporting each other positively. No one of us knows everything there is to know about MS or have the perfect perception of what MS is and what MS does. That absolutely defies imagination that anyone person knows everything about MS because it is so unique from person to person. It would be impossible to understand totally what other people go through! Hence I tell everyone together we are stronger together because when we combine our ideas and combine our knowledge we can learn much from each other. That is as long as we take the time to really listen to each other and try to learn from each other. Thanks again for your timely input. I appreciate all that you and the other administrators do for this chat room. Fancy.
