Got a quick update from Kia, the place I'm getting the car from and, rather than the 2nd, it'll be ready on the 7th 🤷‍♀️ happy that I can get it less than a week than it came in (yay), but I had to do some fanagaling with people to pick up the car with me 🫣 we wouldn't be able to get it after husband finishes work, because the places closes at half 5 😬 so, unless he manages to get out an hour earlier from working during lunch, I'll need his dad to come, take me, be there as I sign all the stuff, and then drive me home. He'll also need husband's mum to come with us, just so she can drive their car back home after we've gone in and started doing stuff.

Not, that wouldn't have been such a pain but, because Motability vehicles can only have 3 drivers on it, and my husband is down as the only one, I'm having to chase up whether my FIL is able to drive it and me the 30ish mins home in it. So far, called Motability, who put me through to First Direct, the people that do the insurance and they said that, because the insurance is not yet live, they can't do anything, so back to Motability I go. Managed to speak to someone who was able to help, but I can't sort it out without him being on the phone with me 😔 thank God he's not working, because he's coming round later today 🙏❤️

Won't the dealer deliver it to your house since you can't drive it?

I haven't arranged for it, because if it's not my husband, it'll be his dad that can drive it back to mine. I don't know much about cars, so it's always handy to have someone with you when talking about stuff, just so they can explain it in layman's terms for you. Plus, I'm going to need one of them to take me to the hospital for bloods later that day, so might as well get some miles in right from the beginning 😅
