DNA Results

Falalala was just asking about the breed of my dog. I guess I never gave you the results of the test. He is 50 percent Dalmatian, 30 percent Australian shepherd and 20 percent Miniature American shepherd! It seems to make a perfect mix, because he is a perfect dog. 😊He had to learn a few things when I got him, but he is very smart and is obedient. He’s still a puppy at 16 months old, and has lots of energy. Thankfully I can take him out on the trail for 2 hours every morning, and to the park twice a day. He has a great dog life. Plus he’s beautiful!

He really is!

I would've sworn he was Great Dane but the results of the test make sense.

Have you ever done the DNA test for yourself?/

Yes, I am Neanderthal. Apparently based in Europe!

My friend got a similar result.

I was notified of my sister's result before she had a chance to see it.

I called & she happened to be at a dinner with a big group of friends so I emailed her the "results".

She handed her phone off before looking and that's when they all found that she's 10% Mountain Goat.

I still laugh about that one 😅

I have a rescue that is 🤷. He is a 85lb tank covered with fur. He’s not the brightest leaf on the tree but he loves me in spite of the fact that I didn’t really like him at first. He barks incessantly. He won me over when he jumped up in the bed with me one night and laid there for 15 minutes staring at me. Y’all will think I’m crazy but he looked worried bout me. I love him I just don’t like him! He’s been by my side for 2 years now and it’s as if he’s been filled with the spirit of protection and loyalty.

This is me, too! I adopted my tub o' lard too quickly, still grieving the loss of my last one. The shelter lied and kept a lot of important information from me, and he had a few more issues than I was prepared to deal with. He's still obnoxious and difficult at times, but he snuggles with me at night and seems to instinctively know when I'm having health issues. I feel safer with him, because he lets me know if anyone steps foot on my property. Also, if someone's stupid enough to break into my house, they'll probably be leaving in a body bag. 😁

What do a tank covered in fur and a tub o' lard have in common??? Loyalty and Love and it is all unconditional. Reading about them and their quirks makes me happy! 😃
