20 Dec 2023 Under NO circumstances stop DMT

G'day ms friends and family. Do I make myself clear. Get on a DMT and stay on a DMT until they burn YOU or they put YOU 6 feet under ground. Yes there are a few other circumstances but YOU get the hint. Rather obvious but can YOU come back at 60 from an ms attack? Also obvious but I will easy it. Who exactly surfers the consequences but YOU stopping treatment, your Doctor, your spouse, your family. WHO? If you guessed YOU, YOU got it right. Think for two moments before YOU do anything foolish.

Sternly said,

Royce

Merry X-mas and Happy New Year.

Hello Royce. I just want to say that this has been discussed many times. It is a very personal decision and no one should ever state that there is only one way to do things. I stopped taking dmt’s in 2016 and it was the best decision ever. I know of many other people who have made the same decision and they also have had excellent results. But I don’t think that it is right for everyone and I would never try to tell people that they should do the same thing that was right for me. I felt much better after all of the medication finally washed out from my body, which took a long time. So, please, please don’t tell anyone that your opinion is the only one or the best one for everyone.

I hope you and your wife have a delightful Christmas and New Year! Many warm wishes to you, Kelly

I have stopped O been sick since last dose in June. Dr says no more O. They are watching me very closely. Just had thorough eye exam, everything good. MRI end of month praying for no new activity. Don’t want to jinx myself but so far I feel good. I think mavenclad will be next dmt should I need one. O kept me good from 2018 to now each year problems with respiratory infections increased this year was the worst. Stay strong listen to your body and the dr. Peace to all

Same here. O was killing me. Stopping it was the best decision I have ever made. I have not taken any DMTs since then.

My fear of stopping a med is that I might then lose ground to this insidious disease, and once it is gone, you can't get it back. The only reason I would stop is under a suggestion from my MS neurologist.

I stopped taking a DMT about a year into my diagnosis and have no regrets whatsoever.

Had I been on a DMT a few years ago when I got seriously ill, I'd have had no way to fight it off Doc. ;)

So what your saying is in the current health (lack of) care industry the are supposed to keep taking their DMT even when life threatening side effects begin to appear and medical "professionals" drag their feet responding to said patient and supposed to keep shoving the poison down their throats until they contract PML and die for a 5.5% chance it MIGHT slow their illness???? Wow, have the big pharma ever put the blinders on you. Not EVERONE is the same Royce.
