Even on your worst days, the ones where you can't even seem to accomplish the smallest of tasks... just remember, even when you haven't left your recliner your on a big round space rock, spinning like a top at 1,000 mph... In addition to this daily rotation, Earth orbits the Sun at an average speed of 67,000 mph, or 18.5 miles a second.... so even if you haven't moved all day long... you still managed to travel 1, 632,000 miles today!!!!
I should also add... sometimes ya just gotta sit down, shut up and hold on!!!

Unknowingly you actually are speaking for the both of us... !!Here's a thought.... we need to talk to Uncle Sam about getting Nasa to develope some 'space brakes' to slow the planet to 36 hour days so the gravity and spin will lessen and us MSers can have a better quality of LIFE!!!!
Science is amazing. MS research has come along way, even since I was dx thirty years ago. Now, I am 56, but I was 26 back then. No DMTs. Betaseron on lottery. Avonex hit the market in 1996. Copaxone in 1997. Rebif permitted in the USA in the early 2000s? So many more tx today too. But, still no cure, but progress.
Happy Holidays to you, Allen! May you find joy during this season! 😇🙏🙂🤞🎄🎅🤗😽
It's from their Meaning of Life film back in 1983. I've only watched it once when I was about 10ish so at least memories from my younger life haven't yet gone 😅 I'm currently 29 now 🤷♀️
Don't worry about it! I could forget that I've watched an episode of whatever, put it on, and my husband tells me off and what happened in it to remind me 🫣
I just turned 50 so... mine not so much!!! 🙄 I have to use my phone to remind me of stuff and I get to watch shows and movies I know I've watched before and its like the first time all over again!!! 😅🤣😅🤣
You and I have a very similar way of reminding ourselves about stuff 🤣 like, I send links to myself for stuff I want to watch, the note app on my phone for bits of information I might need in the future, and every detail of appointments including date, time, where its at, whether its face to face or phone!
The note app cones in very handy to keep my logins and passwords for the different apps!!! LOL otherwise they would all need to be the same and not supposed to do that! LoL and the reminders on my phone when to take meds and what meds, appointments etc. Even just tasks I can't forget like during the winter months have to keep tabs on my propane tank levels so there's a weekly reminder for that too!!! Then there's the daily reminders to bring in my Christmas decoration! The kids at the votech make these circutboard led battery opperated Christmas trees. I have two of them so I set one out at dusk on my porch railing and that's as far as I go with putting up lights. I have a reminder to bring it in at bedtime so it doesn't get up and walk off, or blow away.
Definitely very handy! I remember, back when I did phones for a bank, going through Internet banking queries with customers, having them reset their password, and if they had mentioned that they had forgotten it and caused the app/site to lock them out, I'd tell to make a note without any other details about what the password is for. With the meds stuff, I have the Lloyd's Pharmacy app, where I can put in a request for repeat meds, and it sends me notifications of when to take my meds. I have used a daily pill box thing, where it has slots for morning & night for each day of the week, but I now only use it when I've had to think twice/three times/more to remember I've taken/not taken the meds. Thankfully, I'm now back to "normal" 🤣 I can tell my Alexa devices to add whatever onto my shopping list so I don't miss anything when we do our shopping. I leave my husband to do the outside stuff anyway, he might need reminding which bins to put out that week 😜 thank god for our council to provide a site specifically for bins 🤣
This is what I do. Love the notes app. My calendar on my phone is where I keep track of appts and things I need to do. I also have an alarm app for meds, appt wake ups, etc.
i was reading about the spoon theory and thinking how you’re supposed to figure how many spoons of energy/tasks/activities you’ll be able to accomplish in a day and I thought how i can only determine how many spoons of energy I’ve got for each hour or so because my energy levels change so much. I think i just need to eat better and get more sleep at night to get more spoons.
