Hi All,

I do podcasts interviewing doctors leading the newest breakthroughs in medicine. In my latest podcast, I interviewed Dr. Kevin Patel, MD, Neurologist at UCLA, who is leading a clinical trial related to MS. I thought this would be an important interview to share with you all that shares details about the clinical trial.

This is interesting as I have MS & I was diagnosed in Harch of 1994 I was in my early 40's. Then about 12 yrs later I was diagnosed as a diabetic, diabetes does run in both sides of my family. I have been on Metformin for about 17 yrs 500 mgs twice a day. I wonder if this has kept the MS from changing to progressive MS? I wonder if any studies have been done on that? Mary

Thank you for the post. I have PPMS. Diagnosed in 2019 and I have seen the decline in my legs within last four years. I hope the clinical trials with Metformin goes well.
