I'm enrolled in this 2 year study in which they measure retinal nerve fiber changes every 6 months for 2 yrs. results are shared with you and your neurologist. The hope is that OCT can become the quicker, cheaper, non-invasive option to MRI and additionally identify some of the MS changes not seen on MRI.

I had my first visit yesterday. Really nice Doctor formally with the NIH. Site is in Saint Pete and they do pay travel (I think within Fl). Currently 50 participants enrolled. Goal is 200. If interested, message me and I can give you more info.

I was going to do it but the drive from Ridge Manor is almost an hour & 1/2 and the traffic. I decided not to participate.

It's 2 1/2 hour drive one way for me and there's no way I could have navigated that traffic myself. Very grateful to my hubby who gave up his entire day 💕

Not sure how far that is from Charleston SC but I'm interested. My son will start going to a university in Tampa I could use that as an excuse to stop and visit. 😊
