I got in early through cancelations. Then it took the nurses over an hour to find a vein that they could use for the IV. 5 sticks later and 2 blown out veins they finally got an IV in. π‘The good news is the colonoscopy went well. I had no polyp ups whatever. So I'm clear for the next 5 years. ππ
Thanks for all the support and well wishes! You all are the best!π€π

I am surprised you don't get to go 10 years if there weren't any polyps!I had polyps and don't have to go for 5 years. Seems like it should be longer for no polyps.
I HATE IV sticks! I'm a hard stick so that makes it worse. But even I have not been stuck 5 times for an IV. (Blood test, yes.) I am so sorry! I bet you have the bruises to show it.
I'm surprised you were told 5 years. I've always been told 10 unless they found something.
That's what multiple gastro doctors have said, plus my GP. I had a clean test so I can wait 10 years. My husband had polyps so he has to do every 5 years.
Yayyy! It's crazy how doing that prep dehydrates you so.. last time i was the victim of multiple sticks too.. maybe I will somehow be luckier in January π SO glad to hear no polyps!
