I am not sure what I am expecting out of this but I have multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, and depression. For five month's I have been having bowel issues but I live in Ontario Canada so getting help is very hard/ near impossible. I did see my GP who thought it was the ms so gave me opiates. Now I finally after not eating for 4 days went to our emergency room. Who ignored me for a lady with cramps for 13 hours to be told they think c. diff and take testing items. What they didn't give me is the forms to bring this stuff anywhere. Now the samples are bad and for 3 days I keep hearing to go to my family doctor for the testing. Sweet, he's booked for the next 6 months so now I am arguing, my spouse is arguing to just get a flipping form to get help. Worse part is I'm the one still cleaning the house and paying the bills.I need to move!

Dang I thought care in Canada 🇨🇦 was supposed to be good. Opioids cause me problems with being bound up. I take fiber gummies morning and night to help with this, 10 in the morning and same at night helps me to stay regular. We all get cranky when we don’t feel well and this is a great place to vent. Prescription Movantik is also great for being regular 👍🏼 Prayers are with you and hope you can get this figured out soon 👍🏼🙏😉
I hope you feel better. I take Miralax or Clearlax every night.
Drinking a lot of water also helps me.

I'm sorry, this sounds infuriating.
i thought that in Canada that you had some of the best doctors and care centers....wow ...
Sorry to hear about your situation. We all have times when it helps to vent. I like everyone who responded thought Canada had good medical care. Like here in the US you have to be your own advocate to receive the care you deserve. Wish you the best.
Hang in there. If you are having diarrhea maybe they can collect the specimen in the ER if you go back. If it is c-dif you need to get on antibiotics
That's horrible! Unfortunately it seems that not just customer service is taking a huge nose dive, but medical care is as well. I'm going through the same thing here in NJ. Sometimes, most times, it seems like nobody cares anymore. I hope everything works out for you!
