They were calling for chilly weather, thunderstorms, and high winds today, to the point that our electric company sent out a notice advising us what to do if the power goes out. Instead, I've spent the morning sitting on the back porch enjoying the sunshine and warm weather!
Apparently Mother Nature hates me. Mum came over for coffee, and we were having a good ol' time sitting out back. And then the high winds came along, followed by increasingly black clouds. She took off in a hurry, and I'm now inside wondering if I should take the dog and hide in the cellar.
i'm so confused! it's chilly here. No porch action for me.
