Saturday was the first in person Albuquerque Walk MS event since 2019. I attended with my intent being actually doing the WALK, not pooping out fast, not coming anywhere close to finishing the 3 mile route, not even the 1 mile route.
2022, I again wanted to do the 3 mile'r, but when I reached the literal fork in the route and asked how many Port-O-Potties were along the trail. In 2019 I think there were 3.
This time around?
ONE!
That sent me down the 1 mile route, beginning to wonder if I could go even THAT far without an urgent need for a port-o-potty or a really big bush
But, dang it! I'd worn my pumpkin shirt (what I call the MS T-shirt I'd gotten in 2019 for participating) and a wicked pair of compression hose! I was going to do a Walk during this event!
I finished the 1 mile walk, returning to the starting point!

congratulations on doing what you could ,they should of had more potapots ...that was really dumb of them not to have them ...wow...sorry you didn't get to do more but ha you showed up and that is more than i have ever done...so still be very proud for your accomplishment ...i thank you very much ....love and much happiness...
Congrats! I couldn't do that now, a couple of years ago maybe as I used to walk a lot but now I don't since I've had covid. It zapped all my energy & strength.
I'm so sorry you have experienced COVID 19. I got a little taste of that, myself, and am surprised I was able to do the walk. I had'd had COVID 19, but at the beginning of February I had finally caved and got the Moderna "booster", slept for two days straight. When I woke up just didn't have the energy to do anything. Only beginning this month, I forced myself out.
The walk here in the Charleston, South Carolina area is this coming Saturday and I plan on doing the 3 mile route. Hopefully there are more porta potties than just one.🤔
