Hi All,
In the US, March is MS Awareness month. I plan to spend this month in prayer, over myself - yes, and for all who are affected by MS. If you don't believe in a higher power, please be respectful and move on from these posts. But if you would like to, please read and join in with me in lifting up these things. My goal is to post once a day for this month.
blessings,
Laurie

Dear Lord,
Today, I give you thanks for my physical therapists. I thank you especially for D, my PT who is so kind and compassionate. Thank you that though he had never heard of the HFAD that he was willing to try it out with me and help me to navigate paperwork and test it out. I pray that he would continue to listen well to others he works with and would be willing to try out new devices that can help people. I pray for others who have PTs and OTs and counselors and others who meet with them and for good communication, for understanding, and for strength to do these exercises to help.
Thank you for those physical therapists and others who have invented these devices. It's a gift from you, Lord, that these things exist. I am grateful for my shower chair, my bed rail handle, my leg lifter, my walker rollator, my HFAD, and for so many more things that help me to do what would otherwise be difficult for me. Thank you for the way these things are available and have been tested and used over time. Thank you for wheelchairs and all terrain chairs and AFOs and ramps and so many other things that help people like me to better navigate this world.
Most of all, I thank you Lord for my hope in you. I thank you for the promise you give to all who belong to you, that one day, we will be made new. One day, I won't need these devices anymore. Thank you. Until then, I do ask you for healing. And I know that one day I will be completely healed.
In Jesus' name, amen
